GOAL SETTING & ACTION PLANNING

Introduction

The primary objective of a Manager is to achieve goals set by the organization onto her using the resources allocated. Generally, goals received by a Manager would be of a different level of detail and focus than that of the goals she in turn needs to set for her team members.  Failure to do so effectively will result in a situation where the team’s goals are “disconnected” from the organizational goals. Thereafter, she needs to formulate and track key actions that the team will pursue in order to achieve those goals.

All these skills need to be developed. This program will cover among others:

  • How to translate bigger organizational goals into team/ individual goals

  • Best method in setting goals and objectives

  • Formulation and tracking of actions and goals

  • Governance & control of goals and actions

​

Participants will go through related concepts and will be given “hands-on” experience to translate those into actions via formulation of goals and plans that can be used at work.
